Is there BAME discrimination in the NHS?
One of our YSA participants recently took part in a competition exploring BAME discrimination in the NHS.

A skills award to support and inspire the next generation into STEMM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine
Students aged 13-19 can work towards a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award by undertaking STEMM-based activities at school, at home or online and logging them onto a personalised e-portfolio.
Why get involved?
The Youth STEMM Award provides a framework to add impact and legacy to otherwise stand alone STEMM activities. Participants take part in more activities than they normally would and reflect on their skill development while building confidence and a record of achievement. Running the Youth STEMM Award in your school or college is a great way to raise the numbers and diversity of young people going into STEMM careers and further training.
“The YSA is likely the experience which changed my idea of what I wanted to do in the future & empowered me to think that I could pursue a career in STEMM. It’s an incredible programme & I recommend it so much!” Student participant
